As Chief Executive for over 3 decades in aged care, Marcia brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in all aspects of the industry. Marcia has led large aged care reforms of national significance and regularly advises State and National governments on aged care policy and reforms. Marcia is highly regarded amongst her peers across Australia and is known for her skill in adapting aged care services to meet the cultural needs of an aged care community.
Director of Major Initiatives and Innovation
Frank Naso is an award winning aged care physiotherapist with over 20 years’ experience in Aged Care. He has been recognised by every Australian Aged Care Peak Body for his work in relation to Wellness, Dementia Care and product development. Frank believes that every individual has the right to continue enjoying their lifestyle regardless of their physical and mental wellbeing. His achievements include a Best Practice Award – Quality Agency, Best Individual Contribution to Workplace Safety - Safework South Australia and Australia, Hesta National Aged Care. Alzheimer’s Dementia SA Excellence, LASA 2015 award finalists and the ACSA SA & NT 2016 Aged Care award winner.
Ivan’s impressive contacts and achievements in relation to Government liaison and relationship building services between Australia and China are a great asset to SSH Connect. His strength is creating brand awareness, facilitating smooth business translations with his Chinese clients and most importantly, securing and negotiating construction related projects, investment and development opportunities for the company.
Passionate about the not-for-profit (NFP) sector, Michael has always held a strong interest in community services - sitting as a Director or Public Officer on Boards and committees of NFPs over many years. In the last 20 years he has held chief executive positions with NFPs, leading them into growth and sustainability. Prior to this Michael spent 8 years with an international management consulting firm in Australia and Hong Kong. Michael therefore has a unique set of experience gained in NFP/social enterprise, commerce and government; has been awarded Honorary Life Membership of both SACOSS and the SA Governor's Leadership Foundation; and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He brings expertise in governance, management, strategy, and change management to the team.

Ann’s outstanding achievements feature in Lounge to Boardroom, a book highlighting key successful professional women of South Australia. She has worked with universities, government departments and registered training organisations and has worked extensively with international students particularly the Chinese to assist their transition into the Australian education sector and way of life. She is a highly sought after consultant for her demonstrated expertise in aged care, hospitality, leadership, management and marketing.
MEET THE ALLIED HEALTH TEAM
Graduated occupational therapy from the University of South Australia in 2014. She was employed by Saint Hilarion with Athin Christou after completing their final year placement. Belinda thoroughly enjoys working with residents and community members to achieve their rehabilitation goals, is a member of AHPRA and has a particular interest in hand therapy and hold current certificates in Fundamentals of Hand therapy, Splint Fabrication and is on the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA) conference committee. Belinda has assisted Frank Naso alter and trial the Naso sling over the past 2 years and has been working with fellow SA aged care providers to introduce the sling into the healthcare industry.
Athin graduated from UniSA with a Bachelor Degree in Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) in (2014), Additionally, Athin holds diplomas in Remedial Massage/ Musculoskeletal therapy, dry needling qualifications and fundamentals of Hand therapy certificates. He is a current member of AHPRA, the Occupational Therapy Australia (OTAus) and Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT) associations. Athin has experience in aged care, acute care, private home/ community care and sporting clubs and is particular interest in a holistic approach to health and wellness. Athin involvement with SSH Connect is to provide the best client-centred services to the wider community to improve their quality of life. Athin's interest are sports in particularly soccer, golf and bike riding that he participates in on a regular basis.
Clare graduated from the UniSA with a bachelors degree in applied science (occupational therapy). She started with SSH Connect during her final year as a student and has been with SSH Connect ever since. Clare enjoys working at SSH Connect and says she feels right at home with the Italian community due to her own Italian heritage. Clare leads weekly cooking classes at SSH Connect and says that as an OT, it is important to use activity to enable reminiscence and social opportunity. In her spare time, Clare enjoys undertaking DIY projects, socializing and cooking all sorts of goodies.
Gianni graduated from UniSA in 2015 with a Masters of Occupational Therapy Degree (Post-Graduate), and additionally holds a Bachelor Degree in Applied Science and Human Movement. He was employed at Saint Hilarion after completing his final year placement, conducting the successful project of PERMA, a positive psychology model to improve quality of life and maximize satisfaction and happiness of residents within the aged care sector. Gianni comes from a big family of Italian heritage and thoroughly enjoys working with the Italian community and residents, with a focus to improve rehabilitation, health and wellness goals. Gianni’s interests involve health and fitness, and currently participates within his local soccer team.
